Ingredients
12ozbag of whole organic cranberries, rinseddiscarding any unsightly ones
1cupsugar
1cupwater
extra sugar for rolling
Instructions
In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, combine 1 cup of sugar with water and cook until sugar completely dissolves.
Add cranberries and stir to evenly coat, remove promptly with a slotted spoon. Do not heat too much or they will begin to burst.
Lay cranberries out on a baking rack to slightly dry, about 20 minutes. They should still be sticky.
Working in batches, roll cranberries into a bowl of sugar to coat evenly. Shake off any excess sugar and return to baking rack, or onto a sheet of foil, to finish drying, 1 hour.
