Ingredients
1(14 oz.)sweetened condensed milk, canned
1 tspvanilla extract, more if desired
8-10cupsclean, fresh snowmore or less, depending on the density (icy snow not recommended)
Mix the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla together. Set aside.
Gather fresh, clean snow in a large mixing bowl. The density of snow used will determine the final outcome.
Start with 8 cups (keeping more snow in the bowl nearby, if needed) mix by hand until well combined, it will take just a few minutes. Note that the final consistency should be soft like freshly churned ice cream. Icy snow will have a different texture, more like an ice milk and is not recommended.
Scoop and top with sprinkles, optional. Eat immediately.
Notes
Make sure the snow is clean and freshly fallen. Do not use snow that has debris, rock salt, dirt, etc. When in doubt, don’t use it.
